On the right is a selection of well-known companies, products or services and less well-known technology leaders in the advance of the state of art in ECMAScript applications on the web that have appeared in the last 15 years.

These are all advancing to occupy a larger proportion of web space and whose future developments are likely to be accompanied by new innovations using ECMAScript.

The last frontier for ECMAScript, the server side, will be the predominant theme enhancing the performance of web-based applications and cloud computing.
